Illinois Valley Y Tumbling

Tumbling Coordinator, Karen Hansen

Karen Hansen previously owned and operated a competitive tumbling facility in the Quad Cities. She has coached many athletes to state and national titles and had several students on the AAU Junior Olympic team. Miss Hansen is also a certified EMT.

All of our instructors are certified in CPR and first aid through the American Heart Association. The instructors are specifically trained to teach beginner through advanced levels of tumbling and have monthly safety and spotting evaluations.

Tumbling Evaluations

Before your child is allowed to sign up for a tumbling class they must meet with Karen Hansen so she can assess their tumbling skills and properly place them in the correct tumbling classes, as space is limited.   Please contact her at 815.223.7904 x 39
