Fitness Equipment Orientations
So you’ve been an Illinois Valley Y member or have just joined BUT you
already know your way around the building.
You’re not looking for a Personal Trainer to help you build a program
BUT you would like to know how to use the equipment.
Don’t feel overwhelmed!!
We have what you need!
NEW to the Illinois Valley YMCA:
Fitness Equipment Orientations!
A personal trainer will spend 45 minutes leading you around the
Wellness Center helping to familiarize you with the equipment we have!
From strength training to cardio equipment your will learn how to set up the machines,
how equipment relates to specific muscle groups and so much more!

$15 per session
Indoor Cycling Rules and Regulations
1. Bikes are not to be pulled away from the wall until 10 minutes before class starts.
2. People may set up bikes for other individuals by ONLY placing a towel (or other small item) on the bike (DO NOT pull it away from the wall).
3. Individuals who have other people set up their bikes MUST be there 10 minutes prior to the start time of the class and set up their own bike(pull it away from the wall).
4. If a bike had been reserved with a towel (or other small item) BUT NOT pulled away from the wall 10 minutes prior to class it is the instructor's responsibility remove the towel and make the bike available to any potential bike participants who may be waiting for a bike.
