Benefits to Corporations:
Corporations encourage their employees to maintain healthy lifestyles, because doing so may reduce health care costs and improve morale.
With the development of body, mind, and spirit for all persons as its stated mission, the YMCA can directly meet the health and fitness needs and interests of America's work force. The YMCA services summarized are uniquely suited to promote health enhancement for workers.
The Illinois Valley YMCA has taken a commitment to working with area companies on improving and maintaining healthy lifestyles. Presently, the Illinois Valley YMCA works with over 100 companies with memberships. YMCA memberships provide benefits to employees!
As Americans have become more and more interested in fitness, they have welcomed the health enhancement programs offered by their employers as additional job benefits. The YMCA can provide programs that improve employees' lives in many ways. For example:

Fitness & Wellness Programs:
Retreats at the YMCA: Retreats can provide corporations with a place to meet socially, utilizing fitness and recreation as team building techniques. You may use the YMCA for friends and families during nonscheduled times.
Special Events:
Your corporation can automatically qualify for discounted rates with as few as 6 membership units. It does not cost your corporation anything. If you have enough interested people, you should make a list of names of those people who will be coming in to sign up. Each family, individual, or single parent family membership unit counts as one membership unit. If any employee has a current membership at our YMCA, they can be counted toward the total number of units needed to qualify. If you have enough units to qualify, please make a list and send or fax it to the YMCA.
Please include on this list your corporation's name, address and phone number along with a contact person's name. After we receive your list, you will receive membership application cards by mail. Your completed membership application cards and payments can be brought or sent in to the YMCA.
