AQUATOTS PARENT/CHILD AQUATICS

6 MONTHS - 3 YEARS

This program develops the child’s skill and confidence, strengthening the bond between parents and children through songs and fun activities. Classes focus on caring, honesty, respect and responsibility promoting life long skills and positive values. Classes are held in the therapy pool. Children who are not potty trained must wear tight fitting plastic pants and a swim diaper. Pick-up a brochure on swimming levels and prerequisites at the Illinois Valley YMCA. MIN/MAX: 3 / 10 PER TIME.

Must be 6 months or older  at the starting date of class. One adult 18 years or older must actively participate with each child in the water.
